Framed Bones
Avant-Garde Eveningwear Collection
Architecture, worn: eveningwear for the artist who owns every room she walks into.
Market and material research, draping, illustration, art, design, graphic design, sourcing, creative direction
Framed Bones is deeply inspired by the study of architecture and the angles and shapes found within it. Its avant-garde approach proposes new measures of dressing for a musical artist at a high-publicity event: an awards ceremony, a gala, a red carpet.
The collection plays with contrast. The movement and spirituality of dance push against sharp contours, angular shapes and framing, and materiality carries that tension. It can be the appetiser before the show or the icing on the after-party. Either way, it is unforgiving in its appeal for every eye in the room.
These designs are made for strong women with an unwavering grip on self-expression, lifted by the confidence of the wearer and driven by bold, everlasting energy.
